The artist’s father was Kaqchikel Maya and his mother Tz’utuhil Maya. He has created his own unique vision and style of painting, quite different from the arte popular of other Maya artists. The trauma he suffered during the time of violence comes out through his surrealist paintings. He always has original ideas.
